International Agencies

Malta has over the years established a sound presence on the international education map and is continuously attracting interest from international education institutions and organizations that want to invest and have a long term presence in the Maltese islands.

In addition, a variety of foreign education agencies have also established a connection and constant collaboration with Malta, particularly in terms of supporting collaborative research as well as their respective students in undertaking study experiences abroad. These include:

Global Education Network Europe (GENE)
Global Education Network Europe (GENE) is the European network of Ministries and Agencies with national responsibility for policymaking, funding and support in the field of Global Education. Malta has been member since the year 2017.

Study  In Europe
Study in Europe provides information about study opportunities in 33 European countries. These countries fully participate in Erasmus+, the EU’s programme supporting students from EU and partner countries across the world to study in Europe.

Nuffic
Nuffic is the Dutch organization for international education. Nuffic promotes internships and international education programmes through its headquarters in The Hague and eleven offices worldwide. Its stated ambition is for every pupil and student to gain international experience by 2020.

DAAD
Founded in 1925, the German Academic Exchange Service is the world’s largest funding organisation for the international exchange of students and researchers. The organisation supports internationalisation of German universities, as well as the promotion of German studies and the German language abroad. It also assists developing countries in establishing effective universities and advises decision makers on matters of cultural, education and development policy.

Uni-Italia
Uni-Italia was founded in 2010 in order to attract students and researchers to study in Italian universities. It also works towards strengthening the collaboration between Italian and international universities, having established its presence in various non-European countries.

Campus France
Campus France is the French national agency for the promotion of higher education, international student services, and international mobility. With a global network of 200 offices, Campus France informs and guides international students about French higher education and their choice of training, as well as manages scholarship programs from foreign governments and public and private institutions.
